AXEGNII PERATES

It is difficult to measure the contribution of several Cretan music bands to the popularity and evolution of the Cretan music.

The band “Axegnii Perates” is a group of young people that through their music express the essence of their souls and their love for this musical genre. Their inspiration can be no other than the great Cretan artists of the past as well as of the present.

Giorgis Avramakis, Michalis Karatarakis, Pegagia Somaraki, Nikos Tavernarakis and Vaggelis Foukakis, offer us remakes of old traditional Cretan songs and their own musical creations.

This work is included in 1 CD and a 12-pages informative booklet where you can find valuable information and photographs of the band and Cretan music.
